It is far better than the 440A steel used for standard Kershaw Leek knives Handle is made of Black G-10. The G-10 material has been polished to a beautiful finish.Featuring "Speed Safe" index finger opening mechanism with torsion bar technology for assisted opening. Start the blade out of the handle with pressure from your index finger. Then the speed-safe mechanism quickly opens the knife the rest of the way. Blade is made of S30V stainless steel and is 3" in length. Knife is 4" closed. Handle is made of Polished Black G-10.
