The standard Kershaw leak in blue has an aluminum frame. You can feel the quality of this when you hold it. This Is a much higher quality knife in the aluminum. It is also slightly thinner due to it being steel and not having an extra part for the locking mechanism. This is a blem knife with xxxx etched on the blade.
